7 League Springs are the most responsive on the market. APL construction methods improves the spring power and responsiveness by 15%.

A thick and attractive spring guard also makes these the best springs available for resisting scratches and dings.

When to Replace
When spring performance starts to decline, you should plan on ordering replacements. The fiberglass will slowly start to loose it's resistance and may splinter, you'll just find yourself "bottoming out" more often with normal movements.

While there are many factors that affect wear and tear, 7 League Stilts springs tend to last 80-500 hours of normal use.

Q. Cheaper brands of stilts claim to use carbon fiber Springs... isn't that better?
A. In applications where a small amount of flexibility is desired, carbon fiber is the material of choice, but where a large amount of flexibility is desired, fiberglass is better suited.

Hoof lifespan varies greatly depending on the type of use, the ground surface, etc.

Tip: Hoof Modifications
For a more economical solution, you might also want to consider securing tire or padding bits on your hoof. Be extra careful with the attachment as separation at a bad moment could lead to major damage to you.
